Just a Click Away

Until the age of computers did people used traditional mailing of letters. They wrote letters, placed it in the upper right corner of the envelope. The receiver may stay beside the window and wait for a couple of weeks for the mailman to arrive and open the mailbox. But with the click of a button, the world flashes to a new era. In a matter of few seconds…. Poof! Your most awaited mails are on Windows, I mean the Windows Operating System. This is trough the e-mail or electronic mail.
These days ‘speed’ is one of the most important words in the economy. Thanks to Bill Gates for his introduction to modern computers. Without him, the word ‘speed’ would come to extinction.
Computers are one of the most important components in this generation. They change sweat into click. Files like letters, essays, poems, short stories are never written with pens and papers these days. Chats, messages, and even reports can be done in less than a second trough a click. Finding new friends, searching for definitions for words, watching videos, listening to music, and playing videos-these and more are only done trough computers.
Computers are very common these days. It has become a need for business, education, and communications and even politics. It may be small but it can do many things fast. The whole computer unit is basically made up of the CPU or the central processing unit, the monitor, the printer, the keyboard, and the mouse. The CPU is the main part of the computer . it is considered the brain and heart of the computer. Without it, the computer would not work. In the CPU there is the motherboard. It holds all parts and drives in it. The hard disk is where the main files are stored. The memory gives the computer the fast speed and does processes in just a blink of an eye. There are still many parts and accessories that a computer may have. With the computer, everything can be done in a flash.
Technology never stopped accelerating. Besides computers, there are the cell phones. Cell phones are not ordinary these days. Before, it was made for calling, then for texting. Now, you can create multimedia like video and music, and send them to other people. Cell phones got smaller and got lighter. They are now handier compared to computers. Most people have cell phones these days, like the computer, it has become a need for emergency and business. It also does communication in just a click away.
Life has become dependent to these technologies. Our lifestyle has really changed a lot. Others got too much addicted to computers and cell phones. They sleep late at night, and stay in Internet cafes and savor the entertainment the computer gives. All of these promote bad health to people. No sweat came out from our skin cause we lack exercise. Our minds have become obsessed to computers and cell phones just for fun. We must be responsible to ourselves. This is trough balancing health and fun!
